Since 1967, The Learning Center, a non-profit foundation, has helped thousands of people through educational programs and psychological counseling. The Learning Center Foundation has an unparalleled reputation for working with individuals diagnosed with learning disabilities that impair one’s natural processes. We have been a pioneer in providing assistance to individuals with neurological, developmental and learning disabilities such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism, Asperger’s Disorder, Tourette’s Syndrome and subsequent related emotional difficulties. At The Learning Center, we are proud to proclaim our WASC Accreditation (Western Association of Schools and Colleges).

Education
The Learning Center presents students and parents with one place that meets all of their major academic and therapeutic needs. We are an educational and therapeutic clinic dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults through individualized, one-on-one personalized educational development programs with credentialed and/or master degree graduate level teachers.

The Learning Center offers educational, diagnostic and training services including tutoring, educational therapy, full-time schooling, home schooling, independent study, test preparation, and English as a second language. Our formula for success is based on the premise that if a student works in a highly focused and personalized environment with a credentialed teacher, that the student will achieve the highest possible results. When working in collaboration with the child, parents, teachers and medical professionals, The Learning Center believes that the highest goals can be achieved for the student through a mutual team effort. This premise has been tested thousands of times since 1967 and has proven very reliable.

Each student is individually evaluated to determine the student’s academic strengths and weaknesses, learning style, and emotional needs in order to create the ideal learning strategy for success. The student may also be further assessed for the presence of a specific learning disability. The assessment procedure is extremely thorough so that all facets of the student's educational, emotional and behavioral patterns are understood and evaluated. As a result, a personal development program can be created that is efficient and effective.

Psychology
The Learning Center provides counseling services such as psychotherapy and marriage and family therapy, to help with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, help with family collaboration, as well as other psychological and personal difficulties that people experience. At The Learning Center, we explore real life solutions for real life problems.

We are located in Encino, California, USA. In many cases, we are able to assist clients outside of the Los Angeles area using Skype.
